My hope for you is that you will never let the world or others get in the way of your happiness. I always want you to feel free. I want you to always feel that you can do anything you put your mind to. Life is too short to be bogged down with hate, judgement, fear and reclusiveness. Get out there - live your life to the fullest. Live everyday like it was your last! Life is full of choices - make ones that will enrich your life, that will make a difference.
No one person is better then another. We are all the same on the inside - it doesn't matter what package we come in. Try to find good in everyone and everything. Don't let little things dirty your clear view of your life and the world you live in. Always look to the positive and do your best to do what you can to do your part to make the world a better place. Be hospitable, be charitable, be kind, and be willing to accept those that aren't exactly like you - you never know what you might learn from them!
Be an encouragement to others - they will always remember you for it. Love freely and with your whole heart - anything less cheats everyone involved. Be strong enough to be your own person - don't just do things because its what's always been done or because its the popular thing to do. Most things in history have not been accomplished because it was the popular thing to do; but rather its been the rebels of the day, the mavericks that have made the changes that impact society in positive ways. Stand up for what you believe in, even if others don't immediately agree. By that same token, make sure that what you stand up for is something you are willing to fight for - if its not...its not really that important.
Never allow others to dictate your self-worth. You are perfect, with or without them. You are who you are for a reason. If you allow others to guide your feelings about yourself, you are left powerless and its very difficult to get that power back. Just always stay true to who you are and you will never go wrong.
